Elise Pilkington
wins Triple Crown with Backscratcher's Products at
Professional Beauty 2008 Show
 Backscratchers Glass Glaze
systems were a huge hit at this year’s Professional
Beauty 2008 show held in London’s ExCel International
Centre. The event saw the country’s top competition
techs and leading salons compete for the chance to
be crowned number one. Top of the list was Super Nail & Beauty,
distributors of Backscratchers Salon Systems products
in the United Kingdom, with their top technician scooping
not one, but three major prizes, leading to the top
prize, 2008 Final Championship Winner!
Elise Pilkington took first prize in the Northern
Heat Championships in October 2007 using Backscratchers
Glass Glaze Fiberglass & Silk Wrap System. She
then won the Southern Heat Championships, again using
the Glass Glaze Fiberglass & Silk Wrap System at
the show on March 2, 2008 and was additionally awarded
First Prize in the Salon Nails category. When
combining the Northern & Southern Heats points
total, Elise became the overall UK Champion for 2008.
Carolyn Sears, Director of Super Nail & Beauty, says “We
were thrilled with all of Elise’s numerous wins
in the past, but are especially proud of her achievements
at Professional Beauty 2008. The awards are a testament
to her skill as technician as well as the quality of
the Backscratchers product.” The icing on
the cake for Elise came with the presentation of a cheque
from Ivor & Carolyn Sears as a reward for all of
her hard work.
