Shipping Options & Charges
All products are for professional use only sold to licensed cosmetologists, nail technicians or students, except when noted with the 'R' symbol and/or suggested retail price. Students must provide proof of enrollment. Please read information below.
SHIPPING
- Shipping flat rate of $10.95 on all salon orders. Flat rate does not apply to orders shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, on international orders or with purchase of Salon Vacs or gallon sizes of Cavicide. Shipping costs for Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and for gallon sizes of Cavicide will be added to your bill by customer service. You will be notified of the fee.
- Free shipping promotions, (when offered) do not apply to Gallon Size Cavicide, SalonVac Orders or shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or internationally. Free shipping cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion unless noted in the promotion. Free shipping during promotions will be reflected at time of check-out.
- Free shipping is offered on all orders over $100.00 excluding shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, internationally or for Salon Vac or gallon sizes of Cavicide. Free shipping discount will be processed at our headquarters and will be reflected on your credit card statement.
- Free shipping discount will be reflected on the check out page.
ORDERING
- Most orders placed (Mon-Fri. 8-5PM P.S.T.) will be shipped within 24 hours of purchase.
- When your online order is shipped, you will receive a tracking email from UPS through Backscratchers.
- Orders cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.
- No minimum order requirement.
- Salons receive Bi-Monthly Specials.
- Please reorder any out-of-stock items. Backscratchers does not ship back orders.
- Applicable sales tax will be charged.
- Prices are effective 1/1/12 and subject to change without notice.

FREIGHT
- Shipping/handling charges will be added to all orders.
- Additional charges applied for orders of gallon-size product.
- All air orders will be charged appropriate freight. Air freight options include Next Day Air, Second day Select.
- Shipping days are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm (P.S.T.) (except on holidays).
FREIGHT- DAMAGED MERCHANDISE
If merchandise is damaged upon receipt by UPS or freight line, please note "damaged" on the signature line. Please then call Backscratchers at 1.800.832.5577 to notify Customer Service of your damaged item.
MERCHANDISE RETURNS & EXCHANGES
The following policies apply to merchandise purchased directly from Backscratchers. Merchandise purchased from an authorized Backscratchers distributor must be returned or exchanged through that distributor.
- If there is a product discrepancy, or product is the incorrect size, please notify Backscratchers immediately at 800.832.5577. Discrepancies reported 15 or more days from invoice date are null and void.
- Item must be from Backscratchers’ regular stock merchandise, unused and authorized for return. Contact Backscratchers at 1-800-832-5577 to receive a Return Authorization (R.A.) number.
- The following restocking guidelines and charges apply for returned merchandise:
- Must have a copy of invoice.
- Must have R.A. number clearly marked on the box.
- All returns will have a restocking fee minimum of 25% up to 50% of the purchase price depending on reason for return and condition of product upon arrival.
- No return will be allowed after 30 days from invoice date.
- All merchandise authorized for return will be credited to your next order, less restocking fee.
